The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Lodi Rams (Lodi, NJ) and the visiting Garfield Boilermakers (Garfield, NJ), observed Lodi's softball team notch a victory over Garfield by a tally of 16-8.

The Rams (12-11) will now prepare for their bout against Ferris (Jersey City, NJ). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 9-9 record.

In their next game, the Boilermakers battle the Boonton Bombers (Boonton, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 18. Garfield will attempt to advance on its 11-8 season record. The Bombers go into the bout with a 8-17 record after their 10-6 league loss to Morristown-Beard (Morristown, NJ).
