The North Branford Thunderbirds lacrosse squad (North Branford, CT), was overwhelmed 15-9 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Valley Regional Warriors (Deep River, CT)

Coming up next, the Warriors meet the Old Saybrook Rams (Old Saybrook, CT) in a Shoreline challenge, on Thursday, May 19. Valley Regional will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 18-12 league loss to Morgan (Clinton, CT).

The Thunderbirds now sport a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Northwest Catholic for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 19. North Branford will meet a Lions squad coming off a 23-3 league win over Rocky Hill (Rocky Hill, CT). The Lions record now stands at 10-3.
