May 17, 2023: Jerseyville, IL 62052 The Alton Redbirds baseball squad scored 5 runs and restricted the host Jersey Panthers to 4 in the Redbirds non-league win on Wednesday.
With the win, Alton betters its record to 9-20 on the season. The Redbirds travel to Belleville West (Belleville, IL) to encounter the Maroons in a Southwestern challenge on Thursday, May 18. The Maroons come into the challenge with a record of 12-16. Belleville West lost 5-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Waterloo (Waterloo, IL)
