Kansas High School Softball - Burlington nudges Humboldt
May 17, 2023: Humboldt, KS 66748 Burlington Wildcats (Burlington, KS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Humboldt Cubs (Humboldt, KS), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Osage City for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 17. Burlington will battle a Indians squad coming off a 10-1 non-league win over Fredonia (Fredonia, KS). The Indians record now stands at 17-2.
With the loss, Humboldt falls to 9-3 on the campaign.
