May 17, 2023: Auburn, ME 04210 In Wednesday's league contest, the Oxford Hills Vikings (South Paris, ME) softball team overwhelmed the host Edward Little Red Eddies (Auburn, ME), by a margin of 10-0.
With the triumph, Oxford Hills moves its record to 9-1 on the year. The Vikings host Bangor (Bangor, ME) to play the Rams in a Class A North contest on Saturday, May 20. The Rams come into the contest with a record of 4-7. Bangor lost 9-8 in their recent league contest against Hampden (Hampden, ME)
In their next game, the Red Eddies play the Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME) in a Class A North contest, on Saturday, May 20. Edward Little will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 0-12 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME).
