New York High School Softball - Thousand Islands bounces Lowville
May 17, 2023: Clayton, NY 13624 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Thousand Islands Vikings (Clayton, NY) and the visiting Lowville Red Raiders (Lowville, NY), saw Thousand Islands's softball squad nip Lowville by a count of 6-2.
The Vikings now sport a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Jefferson for a non-league match on Saturday, May 20. Thousand Islands will face a Spartans squad coming off a 22-3 non-league win over Beaver River (Beaver Falls, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 15-1.
With the loss, Lowville falls to 3-7 on the campaign.
