Massachusetts High School Softball - Winthrop knocked off by Marblehead
May 17, 2023: Winthrop, MA 02152 In Wednesday's league contest, the Marblehead Magicians (Marblehead, MA) softball team overwhelmed the host Winthrop Vikings (Winthrop, MA), by a margin of 12-0.
With the triumph, Marblehead moves its record to 6-6 on the year. The Magicians host Swampscott (Swampscott, MA) to play the Big Blue in a Northeast contest on Friday, May 19. The Big Blue come into the contest with a record of 4-10. Swampscott lost 16-4 in their recent league contest against Saugus (Saugus, MA)
In their next game, the Vikings play the Revere Patriots (Revere, MA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, May 19. Winthrop will attempt to move on its 5-13 season record.
