Maine High School Lacrosse - Cape Elizabeth overwhelms Marshwood
May 17, 2024: Cape Elizabeth, ME 04107 The Cape Elizabeth Capers lacrosse team scored 9 points and held the visiting Marshwood Hawks to 5 in the Capers non-league win on Friday.
The Capers (11-1) will now prepare for their contest against Thornton Academy (Saco, ME). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Thornton Academy was overwhelmed by York (York, ME), 11-10, in a non-league contest.
The Hawks now own a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they host Deering for a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 21. Marshwood will confront a Rams squad coming off a 11-3 non-league win over Mt. Ararat (Topsham, ME). The Rams record now stands at 8-3.
