Robertson Cardinals (Las Vegas, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Raton Tigers (Raton, NM), 11-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 19-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dexter for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 17. Robertson will battle a Demons squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Cobre (Bayard, NM). The Demons record now stands at 17-9.

With the loss, Raton falls to 16-11 on the campaign.
