May 17, 2025: Phoenix, OR 97535 The crowd at Saturday's league battle between the Hidden Valley Mustangs (Grants Pass, OR) and the host Phoenix Pirates (Phoenix, OR), saw Hidden Valley's baseball team gain a win over Phoenix by a tally of 16-5.
The Mustangs (14-7) will now prepare for their battle against Klamath Union (Klamath Falls, OR). The Pelicans enter the 4A Skyline battle with a 9-13 record.
Next, the Pirates face the Henley Hornets (Klamath Falls, OR) in a 4A Skyline battle, on Monday, May 19. Phoenix will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record.
