The Monroe Township Falcons triumphed over the host Spotswood Chargers softball squad by a count of 8-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Falcons play the St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans (Edison, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, May 20. Monroe Township will attempt to upgrade on its 13-9 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 16-3 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Colonia (Colonia, NJ).

The Chargers (13-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Sayreville (Parlin, NJ). The Bombers enter the GMC - White challenge with a 11-6 record. In their last challenge, Sayreville was routed by East Brunswick (East Brunswick, NJ), 8-2, in a league challenge.
