Indiana High School Softball - Tell City bounces Mt. Vernon
May 17, 2025: Tell City, IN 47586 The Tell City Marksmen (Tell City, IN) softball routed the visiting Mt. Vernon Wildcats (Mt. Vernon, IN), 10-0 in Saturday's league outing.
The Marksmen now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Spencer for a Pocket outing on Monday, May 19. Tell City will encounter a Rebels team coming off a 11-1 league loss to Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN). The Rebels record now stands at 5-8.
With the loss, Mt. Vernon moves to 5-7 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Tecumseh (Lynnville, IN) to encounter the Braves in a Pocket outing on Monday, May 19. The Braves come into the outing with a record of 20-2. Tecumseh won 4-0 in their recent league outing against Southridge (Huntingburg, IN)
