Indiana High School Softball - Mt. Vernon drops to Tecumseh
May 19, 2025: Lynnville, IN 47619 Tecumseh Braves (Lynnville, IN) supporters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Mt. Vernon Wildcats (Mt. Vernon, IN), 15-0 in a league game.
With the triumph, Tecumseh improves its record to 21-2 on the year. The Braves host Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN) to play the Patriots in a Pocket game on Wednesday, May 21. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 19-6. Heritage Hills won 3-1 in their recent non-league game against Evansville Memorial (Evansville, IN)
The Wildcats now hold a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Southridge for a Pocket game on Wednesday, May 21. Mt. Vernon will play a Raiders squad coming off a 10-6 league win over Princeton (Princeton, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 9-11.
