Massachusetts High School Softball - Westford Academy bounces Waltham
May 18, 2022: Waltham, MA 02452 Westford Academy Grey Ghosts (Westford, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Waltham Hawks (Waltham, MA), 11-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Grey Ghosts now own a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln-Sudbury for a Dual County Large challenge on Tuesday, May 24. Westford Academy will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 8-5 league win over Boston Latin (Boston, MA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-10.
With the loss, Waltham falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Hawks host Acton-Boxborough (Acton, MA) to battle the Colonials in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 20. The Colonials enter the challenge with a record of 6-7. Acton-Boxborough won 2-1 in their recent league challenge against Lincoln-Sudbury (Sudbury, MA)
