Massachusetts High School Softball - Acton-Boxborough bounces Waltham
May 20, 2022: Waltham, MA 02452 Acton-Boxborough Colonials (Acton, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Waltham Hawks (Waltham, MA), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Colonials now own a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bedford for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 21. Acton-Boxborough will face a Buccaneers squad coming off a 12-4 non-league win over Newton South (Newton, MA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, Waltham falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Wayland (Wayland, MA) to face the Warriors in a Dual County Small challenge on Monday, May 23. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 7-8.
