Hudsonville Eagles (Hudsonville, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Caledonia Fighting Scots (Caledonia, MI), 7-2 in a league test.

With the win, Hudsonville upgrades its record to 21-8 on the season. The Eagles host Lakeview (Battle Creek, MI) to battle the Spartans in a non-league test on Saturday, May 20. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 25-1. Lakeview won 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Mattawan (Mattawan, MI)

With the defeat, Caledonia falls to 9-17 on the season. The Fighting scots host Union (Grand Rapids, MI) to battle the Red Hawks in a non-league test on Friday, May 19.
