Massachusetts High School Softball - Apponequet Regional bounces Old Rochester Regional
May 18, 2023: Mattapoisett, MA 02739 The Apponequet Regional Lakers routed the host Old Rochester Regional Bulldogs softball squad by a final score of 16-1 in Thursday's league battle.
The Lakers (8-10) will now prepare for their battle against Bourne (Bourne, MA). The Canalmen go into the South Coast battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Bourne topped Wareham (Wareham, MA), 12-2, in a league battle.
The Bulldogs now possess a 1-13 record. They play next when they host Fairhaven for a South Coast battle on Monday, May 22. Old Rochester Regional will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 14-0 league loss to Seekonk (Seekonk, MA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-11.
