Traverse City Central Trojans (Traverse City, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Bay City Western Warriors (Auburn, MI), 11-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 20-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ogemaw Heights for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 20. Traverse City Central will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Garber (Essexville, MI). The Falcons record now stands at 1-8.

With the loss, Bay City Western falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Warriors host Grand Blanc (Grand Blanc, MI) to battle the Bobcats in a Saginaw Valley challenge on Wednesday, May 24.
