In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Blackford Bruins baseball team scored a nice 14-1 victory over the Eastern Hancock Royals.

The Bruins (18-7) will now prepare for their game against Jay County (Portland, IN). The Patriots go into the non-league game with a 12-11 record. In their last game, Jay County ran past Bellmont (Decatur, IN), 4-3, in a non-league game.

The Royals (11-17) will now prepare for their game against Wes-Del (Gaston, IN). The Warriors go into the Mid-Eastern game with a 10-10 record. In their last game, Wes-Del was overwhelmed by Shenandoah (Middletown, IN), 8-2, in a league game.
