May 18, 2024: Columbus, TX 78934 The Columbus Cardinals (Columbus, TX) softball the visiting Lyford Bulldogs (Lyford, TX), 3-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Cardinals (25-8) will now prepare for their bout against Hallettsville (Hallettsville, TX). The Brahmas go into the non-league bout with a 38-2 record. In their last bout, Hallettsville held off Santa Gertrudis Academy (Kingsville, TX), 6-4, in a non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 12-14 record.
