In Monday's league bout, the Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT) baseball squad the visiting Windham Whippets (Willimantic, CT), by a tally of 9-6.

Next up, the Panthers encounter the Norwich Free Academy Wildcats (Norwich, CT) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 21. Plainfield will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 9-5 record after their 17-1 non-league win over Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT).
