In Wednesday's league challenge, the McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA), by a final score of 8-1.

With the win, McLean upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Highlanders host Yorktown (Arlington, VA) to battle the Patriots in a District 2 challenge on Friday, May 21. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Yorktown won 8-6 in their recent league challenge against South Lakes (Reston, VA)
