Anchor Bay Tars (Fair Haven, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting St. Clair Saints (St. Clair, MI), 6-1 in a league test.

With the win, Anchor Bay upgrades its record to 17-7 on the season. The Tars host Marine City (Marine City, MI) to battle the Mariners in a Macomb Area - Gold test on Friday, May 20. The Mariners come into the test with a record of 13-4.

With the defeat, St. Clair falls to 11-9 on the season. The Saints travel to Romeo (Romeo, MI) to battle the Bulldogs in a Macomb Area - White test on Saturday, May 21.
