Massachusetts High School Baseball - Masconomet Regional defeats Gloucester
May 19, 2023: Gloucester, MA 01930 Masconomet Regional Chieftains (Boxford, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Gloucester Fishermen (Gloucester, MA), 7-1 in a league test.
With the win, Masconomet Regional upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Chieftains host Salem (Salem, MA) to battle the Witches in a non-league test on Monday, May 22. The Witches come into the test with a record of 14-3. Salem won 6-1 in their recent league test against Winthrop (Winthrop, MA)
With the defeat, Gloucester falls to 8-9 on the season. The Fishermen host Saugus (Saugus, MA) to battle the Sachems in a Northeastern - North test on Monday, May 22. The Sachems come into the test with a record of 3-16. Saugus lost 8-3 in their recent non-league test against Swampscott (Swampscott, MA)
