Leverett's Chapel Lions (Leverett's Chapel, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Sulphur Bluff Bears (Sulphur Bluff, TX), 5-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Leverett's Chapel upgrades its record to 13-14 on the season. The Lions travel to Kennard (Kennard, TX) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, May 27. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 14-8. Kennard won 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Brookeland (Brookeland, TX)

With the defeat, Sulphur Bluff falls to 12-11 on the season.
