The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Fairfield Falcons (Goshen, IN) and the host Eastside Blazers (Butler, IN), saw Fairfield's baseball team get by Eastside by a margin of 3-2.

The Falcons (16-6) will now prepare for their battle against Westview (Topeka, IN). The Warriors enter the Northeast Corner battle with a 9-10 record. In their last battle, Westview held off Columbia City (Columbia City, IN), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Blazers face the Central Noble Cougars (Albion, IN) in a Northeast Corner battle, on Tuesday, May 20. Eastside will attempt to improve on its 10-10 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 5-12 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Lakewood Park Christian (Auburn, IN).
