New York High School Baseball - Lyons wallops Red Creek
May 19, 2025: Lyons, NY 14489 The Lyons Lions baseball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Red Creek Rams to 6 in the Lions league win on Monday.
The Lions now own a 5-12 record. They take the field next when they host Mynderse Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 20. Lyons will clash with a Blue Devils team coming off a 6-1 league loss to Palmyra-Macedon (Palmyra, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 7-7.
With the defeat, Red Creek drops to 3-13 on the year. The Rams host Finney (Penfield, NY) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 20. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 5-4. Finney lost 8-3 in their recent non-league test against School of the Arts (Rochester, NY)
