In Monday's league bout, the Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Minisink Valley Warriors (Slate Hill, NY), by a tally of 9-2.

Next up, the Vikings encounter the Wallkill Panthers (Wallkill, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 20. Valley Central will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 8-8 record after their 5-3 league loss to Red Hook (Red Hook, NY).
