In Monday's league challenge, the visiting Cranston East Thunderbolts volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Chariho Chargers.

The Thunderbolts (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Classical (Providence, RI). The Purple come into the Division 1 challenge with a 13-5 record. In their last challenge, Classical lost by Coventry (Coventry, RI), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Chargers play the North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI) in a Division 1 challenge, on Wednesday, May 21. Chariho will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Skippers come into the challenge with a 24-0 record after their 3-0 league win over East Providence (East Providence, RI).
