Virginia High School Soccer - Oscar Smith toppled by Western Branch
May 19, 2025: Chesapeake, VA 23320 Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Oscar Smith Tigers (Chesapeake, VA), 8-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Western Branch moves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA) to clash with the Hornets in a Southeastern test on Tuesday, May 20. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 5-7. Deep Creek won 4-1 in their recent league test against Indian River (Chesapeake, VA)
The Tigers now sport a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakeland for a Southeastern test on Tuesday, May 20. Oscar Smith will clash with a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Gloucester (Gloucester, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-10.
