May 19, 2025: St. Helen, MI 48656 Mio HomeSchool (Mio, MI) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Heston Academy Patriots (St. Helen, MI), 15-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Mio HomeSchool improves its record to 9-12 on the year. The host Ogemaw Heights (West Branch, MI) to play the Falcons in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 21. The Falcons enter the game with a record of 5-10. Ogemaw Heights won 13-4 in their recent non-league game against Bullock Creek (Midland, MI)
The Patriots now hold a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Alcona for a non-league game on Thursday, May 22. Heston Academy will play a Tigers squad coming off a 13-4 league loss to Oscoda (Oscoda, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 2-5.
