Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA), 7-2 in a league test.

With the win, Abington Heights upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Comets travel to Honesdale (Honesdale, PA) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 4. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 7-10. Honesdale lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA)

With the defeat, Scranton falls to 8-6 on the season. The Knights host Scranton Prep (Scranton, PA) to battle the Cavaliers in a Lackawanna 1 test on Wednesday, May 4. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 4-8. Scranton Prep lost 8-2 in their recent non-league test against Delaware Valley (Milford, PA)
