Virginia High School Baseball - Chatham gets by Glass
May 2, 2022: Chatham, VA 24531 Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA) and the visiting Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA), saw Chatham's baseball squad knock off Glass by a count of 7-4.
Coming up next, the Cavaliers play the Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA) in a Dogwood battle, on Wednesday, May 4. Chatham will attempt to move on its 11-4 season record. The Raiders enter the battle with a 12-0 record after their 15-2 league win over Altavista (Altavista, VA).
The Hilltoppers now possess a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Amherst County for a Seminole battle on Tuesday, May 3. Glass will play a Lancers squad coming off a 12-7 non-league loss to Halifax County (South Boston, VA). The Lancers record now stands at 7-8.
