May 2, 2022: Millinocket, ME 04462 The Stearns Minutemen baseball team (Millinocket, ME), was overwhelmed 16-8 in Monday's league outing with the visiting Lee Academy Pandas (Lee, ME)
The Pandas now hold a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calais for a non-league outing on Wednesday, May 4. Lee Academy will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Machias (Machias, ME). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-3.
Next, the Minutemen confront the Penobscot Valley Howlers (Howland, ME) in a Class D North outing, on Wednesday, May 4. Stearns will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Howlers go into the outing with a 2-3 record after their 11-9 league win over Schenck (East Millinocket, ME).
