May 2, 2022: Salem, VA 24153 The Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA) soccer bounced the visiting James River Knights (Buchanan, VA), 7-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
With the victory, Glenvar moves its record to 13-0 on the year. The Highlanders travel to Alleghany (Covington, VA) to confront the Mountaineers in a non-league bout on Thursday, May 5. The Mountaineers enter the bout with a record of 1-8.
In their next game, the Knights confront the Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, May 4. James River will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record.
