With the win, Crete advances its record to 10-4 on the campaign.
Game Summary
Beatrice travelled to Crete for the first round of the B-4 Sub District tournament. Crete scored 2 goals in the first half to take a 2-0 lead. Scorers for Crete in the first half were Yordin Velasquez Sosa (Travis Sweeney assist) and Osvin Garcia Velasquez (Diego Espinoza assist). Crete picked right up where they left off after halftime when they scored just 5 minutes into the second half off of Carlos Alvarez Flores blast past the keeper( Emanual Chanchavac Matias assist). Ten minutes later Alvarez Flores scored his second goal of the match off of an assist by Travis Sweeney. Two minutes later Crete scored again when Junior Rafael scored off of an assist from Travis Sweeney. Crete scored 2 more times with under 6 minutes left to make the score 7-1 when Chris Dominguez scored 2 goals from assists by Edwin Jacinto and Hermes Trujillo. Beatrice scored with 5 minutes left in the game off of a blast that just went through the Crete keepers hands.
