Rushford-Peterson Trojans (Rushford, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Houston Hurricanes (Houston, MN), 13-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lewiston-Altura for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 6.

With the loss, Houston falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Lyle/Pacelli (Lyle, MN) to battle the Athletics in a Southeast challenge on Tuesday, May 3.
