Virginia High School Softball - Meridian bounces Sidwell Friends
May 2, 2022: Falls Church, VA 22043 The Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) softball routed the visiting Sidwell Friends Quakers (Washington, DC), 13-1 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Mustangs (5-8) will now prepare for their bout against William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA). The Dragons go into the Northwestern bout with a 11-4 record. In their last bout, William Monroe toppled East Rockingham (Elkton, VA), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
The Quakers now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to St. Stephen's & St. Agnes for a bout on Tuesday, May 3. Sidwell Friends will confront a Saints squad coming off a 23-0 league loss to Potomac School (McLean, VA). The Saints record now stands at 1-5.
