Massachusetts High School Softball - Reading Memorial bounces North Reading
May 2, 2022: North Reading, MA 01864 Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Reading Memorial Rockets (Reading, MA) and the host North Reading Hornets (North Reading, MA), witnessed Reading Memorial's softball squad prevail over North Reading by a count of 11-3.
The Rockets now sport a 10-1 record. They play next when they host Wakefield Memorial for a Middlesex match on Tuesday, May 3.
With the loss, North Reading moves to 6-4 on the season. The Hornets host Newburyport (Newburyport, MA) to meet the Clippers in a Cape Ann Kinney match on Wednesday, May 4. The Clippers go into the match with a record of 2-4.
