Premont Cowboys (Premont, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Taft Greyhounds (Taft, TX), 11-9 in a non-league test.

With the win, Premont upgrades its record to 4-12 on the season. The Cowboys travel to Skidmore-Tynan (Skidmore, TX) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league test on Friday, May 5. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 16-6. Skidmore-Tynan won 4-1 in their recent league test against Three Rivers (Three Rivers, TX)
