May 2, 2023: China Grove, NC 28023 The South Rowan Raiders soccer team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Northwest Cabarrus Trojans to 0 in the Raiders league victory on Tuesday.
Next, the Raiders face the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) in a South Piedmont 3A contest, on Friday, May 5. South Rowan will attempt to better on its 10-8 season record. The Falcons enter the contest with a 6-8 record after their 1-1 league Carson (China Grove, NC).
The Trojans now have a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carson for a South Piedmont 3A contest on Wednesday, May 3. Northwest Cabarrus will face a Cougars team coming off a 1-1 league West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 6-8.
