Illinois High School Lacrosse - Oak Forest drops to Lincoln-Way West
May 2, 2023: Oak Forest, IL 60452 Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL) followers exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Oak Forest Bengals (Oak Forest, IL), 11-5 in a league battle.
The Warriors now have a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Normal Community for a South Suburban battle on Saturday, May 6. Lincoln-Way West will clash with a Ironmen squad coming off a 12-3 non-league win over Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL). The Ironmen record now stands at 7-4.
In their next game, the Bengals clash with the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL) in a South Suburban battle, on Thursday, May 4. Oak Forest will attempt to move on its 7-9 season record. The Vikings come into the battle with a 3-11 record after their 8-6 non-league win over Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL).
