Kentucky High School Baseball - Cooper can't hold off Simon Kenton
May 2, 2024: Independence, KY 41051 In Thursday's non-league game, the host Simon Kenton Pioneers baseball team scored a tight 6-5 victory over the Cooper Jaguars.
The Pioneers (21-8) will now prepare for their game against North Oldham (Goshen, KY). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 9-17 record.
The Jaguars now possess a 9-20 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lloyd Memorial for a non-league battle on Friday, May 3. Cooper will play a Juggernauts squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY). The Juggernauts record now stands at 9-12.
