May 2, 2024: Wheeling, IL 60090 The Hersey Huskies volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Wheeling Wildcats to 0 in the Huskies league victory on Thursday.
The Huskies now have a 24-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren Township for a non-league game on Friday, May 3. Hersey will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Waukegan (Waukegan, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 9-14.
The Wildcats (3-22) will now prepare for their game against Leyden (Franklin Park, IL). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 11-15 record. In their last game, Leyden dropped by York (Elmhurst, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
