May 2, 2024: Rocky Mount, VA 24151 Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bruins confront the Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 3. Blacksburg will attempt to better on its 12-0 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA).
The Eagles now have a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Staunton River for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 3. Franklin County will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-7.
