In Thursday's league test, the visiting North Providence Cougars lacrosse squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Classical Purple.

The Cougars now have a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they host Tiverton for a Division 4 test on Saturday, May 4. North Providence will face a Tigers squad coming off a 9-5 league loss to North Smithfield (North Smithfield, RI). The Tigers record now stands at 5-3.

In their next game, the Purple face the North Smithfield Northmen (North Smithfield, RI) in a Division 4 test, on Monday, May 6. Classical will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Northmen come into the test with a 10-1 record after their 12-3 league win over East Providence (East Providence, RI).
