May 2, 2024: Salyersville, KY 41465 Magoffin County Hornets (Salyersville, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting East Ridge Warriors (Lick Creek, KY), 12-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Hornets now own a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they host East Ridge for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. Magoffin County will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 18-5 league loss to Pikeville (Pikeville, KY). The Warriors record now stands at 9-10.
With the loss, East Ridge moves to 9-11 on the season. The Warriors travel to Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY) to face the Hornets in a non-league match on Thursday, May 2. The Hornets go into the match with a record of 7-8. Magoffin County won 13-11 in their recent league match against Martin County (Inez, KY)
