New Jersey High School Softball - Triton bounces Gloucester County Tech
May 2, 2024: Runnemede, NJ 08078 The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Triton Mustangs (Runnemede, NJ) and the visiting Gloucester County Tech (Sewell, NJ), saw Triton's softball squad nip Gloucester County Tech by a count of 16-9.
The Mustangs now sport a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eastern for a non-league match on Friday, May 3. Triton will face a Vikings squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Cherokee (Marlton, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 13-2.
With the loss, Gloucester County Tech falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The host Kingsway (Woolwich Township, NJ) to face the Dragons in a Tri-County - Royal match on Monday, May 6. The Dragons enter the match with a record of 16-1. Kingsway won 2-1 in their recent non-league match against St. Joseph (Hammonton, NJ)
