New Jersey High School Softball - Triton holds off Timber Creek Regional
April 30, 2024: Runnemede, NJ 08078 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Triton Mustangs (Runnemede, NJ) and the visiting Timber Creek Regional Chargers (Erial, NJ), witnessed Triton's softball squad tip Timber Creek Regional by a count of 3-1.
The Mustangs now sport a 11-3 record. They play next when they host Gloucester County Tech for a non-league match on Thursday, May 2. Triton will face a squad coming off a 14-3 league win over Clearview (Mullica Hill, NJ). The record now stands at 8-5.
With the loss, Timber Creek Regional moves to 7-6 on the season. The Chargers host Kingsway (Woolwich Township, NJ) to face the Dragons in a non-league match on Thursday, May 2. The Dragons go into the match with a record of 13-1. Kingsway won 7-5 in their recent non-league match against Cinnaminson (Cinnaminson, NJ)
