California High School Softball - Hollister bounces Salinas

Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Hollister Haybalers (Hollister, CA) and the host Salinas Cowboys (Salinas, CA), witnessed Hollister's softball squad prevail over Salinas by a count of 14-2.

The Haybalers now sport a 19-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Joseph for a non-league match on Saturday, May 4. Hollister will face a Knights squad coming off a 12-6 league win over Paso Robles (Paso Robles, CA). The Knights record now stands at 20-2.

With the loss, Salinas moves to 17-8 on the season. The Cowboys travel to Monterey (Monterey, CA) to face the Dores in a PCAL - Gabilan match on Monday, May 6. The Dores go into the match with a record of 17-7. Monterey won 2-0 in their recent league match against Notre Dame (Salinas, CA)
